‘Green Fingers’

Primary 6/1 have been learning about the life cycles of plants. Miss Turner’s spider plant (not a real spider) had lots of babies and everyone got their own baby spider to nurture and look after. We put the individual babies in a little water until we could see roots start to grow (after about 2 weeks). Then, we planted them in soil, firstly putting stones at the bottom of the pot for drainage.
They are now in the classroom beside the window as they need sunshine to grow and we water them regularly . Some of them have began to grow new babies…
