Over the last few weeks we have explored probability and we can now explain that probability is the likelihood or chance that a given event will occur.

We can make reasonable predictions about events and enjoyed taking part in a probability task using sweets 🍬🍭🍭.  We developed a probability area model and used it to find probabilities of events.  This allowed us to develop a strong conceptual understanding.

We didn’t eat any of the sweets 👀🍭.

We also created probability posters and enjoyed playing lots of different games to try and find the chance of rolling the same number on dice 🎲.
