Oreo Truffles

Who knew writing could be so fun!

We enjoyed a fun writing lesson this afternoon learning about how to write recipes.  Reading our class novel of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory made us very hungry!

So we decided to write our own recipe for Oreo Truffles and then tested how good our instructions were by working together to make our own truffles.

Reciprocal Reading

We have been developing our reading skills by working in our reciprocal reading groups. In these groups we are all responsible for taking on important roles such as: Clarifying, summarising, predicting, visualising and questioning.

World Book Day

Primary 5 had a great day celebrating World Book Day. We enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters and listening to our favourite books during a story session.

Mrs McWilliams was also very impressed during our World Book Day quiz!
