Open up the image Summer Sunset from below and use your inference skills to answer the questions about the picture. Remember when we are inferring we are using our own knowledge of the world combined with what we can see or what we are told to help us reach a conclusion. Next tackle the vocabulary associated with the Summer Sunset picture by writing definitions for each of the words. If you do not have a dictionary at home then use an online one.
Maths Friday 3.4.20
Today’s Maths task is addition and subtraction of whole numbers. Some of the questions ask you to perform the calculation mentally and others require you to do working. Please read all the instructions carefully.
French lundi, le trente mars
Today we are revising the weather in French. Work through the presentation and try the quizzes. Don’t worry if you do not remember all the weather phrases, just use the picture clues to help you. Next complete the worksheets. These can be copied into your lined jotter if you do not have access to a printer.
Maths Monday 30th March
We are staying with Fractions for today’s Maths. This exercise is to revise finding fractions of an amount. To do this you need to know your multiplication tables well. If you need some practice with your multiplication tables then use the link to Hit the Button.
Everyone should complete Exercise 3 and Exercise 4 is additional for those who wish more challenge.

In these strange times when we find ourselves at home with our normal routines abandoned I thought it might be the perfect time for us to reflect on our own Carbon Footprint.
