P6.1 have been learning what to do if someone goes into cardiac arrest. We learned about DRS ABC to help us remember the steps when helping in an emergency situation.

S – SHOUT for help

A – open the AIRWAY

B – Check if the person is BREATHING

C – Start CPR

We learned how to give chest compressions

using the mannequins.
