Today in the studio we decided to have some fun with the paint using\u00a0 our hands and feet! Firstly we laid down a clear shower curtain and chose colours of paint to \u201csquirt” onto it.\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nHow are we going to mix the colours together ?\u00a0 Using our problem solving skills we came up with some good ideas.\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\n“We can roll around ! And I can use my feet . Be careful it is a bit slippy!”<\/p>\n

We have developed our tactile and sensory skills from touching the paint and feeling it on our skin and between our toes. This also helps\u00a0 us develop gross motor skills and balance. We discussed colours and watched them mix together .\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

As we explore the paint, some of us enjoy fully covering ourselves as a form of self – exploration.\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>
\nAs we become more experienced artists, we demonstrated excellent gross motor skills by using our hands and feet to walk through the paint.<\/p>\n

\nAfter all the fun we had with our body painting,\u00a0 we were able to hang our art work outside and use the remaining paint to draw shapes and letters on it with brushes. \u201cA pointy A for my name”. \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI made a circle \u2b55\ufe0f”.
\nWe all had a great morning having the freedom to discover and choose ways to be creative.<\/p>\n
