Today we were talking about Pancake Tuesday and decided we could make our own pancakes with the playdough. We got our bowls and measured each ingredient\u00a0 <\/span>and used our gross motor skills to stir all the ingredients together. We added some vanilla essence \u00a0to make them smell yummy too.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy mum makes pancakes\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c I have pancakes in my house\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

We then began creating our own pancakes\u00a0 using the rolling pins\u00a0<\/span>and cutters \u00a0of our choice.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

When \u00a0we were ready we popped them into the frying pan some of the children like using the cooker \u00a0to bake them. The children then flipped their pancakes . While we didt this we sang pop a little pancake into the pan.<\/span><\/p>\n

We then used a variety of resources sequins, pom poms to decorate our pancakes pretending they were various toppings.<\/span><\/p>\n
