Today in the mud kitchen the children were pretending to work at Cartmill Cafe. They discussed with each other what they going to make.
\n\u201d I \u00a0love tomato soup\u201d \u201cI like the colour of it, Red is my favourite colour \u201c<\/p>\n

\u201dI am making a birthday cake, a chocolate flavoured one\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHot chocolate, but you need to be careful it\u2019s not too hot when you drink it, I like it with marshmallows \u201c<\/p>\n

\u201dspaghetti bolognaise, with wiggly spaghetti \u201c<\/p>\n

The children then wrote their ideas on the menu<\/p>\n

The children gathered their utensils and began filling and pouring their ingredients. They used gross motor skills to mix and stir added natural resources such as leaves, stick, stones and pine cones to their recipes.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt needs to cook in the oven for 10minutes\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dI need more water in the soup\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dIt\u2019s still too hot, it needs a little water to cool it down\u201d<\/p>\n

We then showed each other our creations and \u00a0had a little pretend nibble.<\/p>\n
