This week in the home corner the children have been really busy enjoying role play acting out real world scenarios so far we have been:<\/span><\/p>\n

Cooking, baking and cleaning in the kitchen<\/span><\/p>\n

Putting on the washing before hanging it on the line to dry<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking care of the babies<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI made breakfast \u201c<\/p>\n

Working from home<\/span><\/p>\n

Some matching and sorting<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cthere\u2019s lots of this one\u201d<\/p>\n

We even had a handyman in to fix the high chair<\/span><\/p>\n

What a busy week we have had.<\/span><\/p>\n

Role play is very popular in the nursery and all of theses activities help to encourage communication and language skills, it also helps to develop self esteem, creativity, social and problem solving skills as they collaborate with their peers.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
