Today in the studio the children worked together as a team to create a wonderful work of art.<\/span><\/p>\n

The children had a chat and decided to make a robot\u00a0 <\/span>that they named Bob. We each chose some pieces of junk and set to work.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c I want to use the biggest box\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHe needs some arms\u201d<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t easy to attach the arms the cellotape \u00a0wasn\u2019t working so we looked around and found some wool, tied on the arms before cello taping them on, great problem solving boys and girls.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the children noticed the reflection of light \u00a0making a circle on the box \u00a0\u201cLook it shows light, I can use it as a torch\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Junk modelling offers opportunities for developing children’s creativity, as well as their fine and gross motor skills, encourages imagination and teaches children about reduce, recycle and reuse.<\/span><\/p>\n
