So, we decided to try and make our own rainbow using chalk and the puddles. We had to put wellies on for this! We chose the colour we wanted, dropped them in the puddles and squashed the chalk with our feet.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2023\/01\/EE9C0030-FD98-462A-B5DF-6C6BD2D2A32D.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23131\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2023\/01\/EE9C0030-FD98-462A-B5DF-6C6BD2D2A32D-300x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe had to practise our jumping and balancing skills for this. \u201cI made a violet colour in my rainbow\u201d. The girls and boys wanted to add more water, developing their filling and pouring skills and making different patterns with the chalk. \u201cMine looks like a unicorn\u201d.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2023\/01\/5A244B7F-2B87-415E-BF25-96D134511BD1.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23132\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2023\/01\/5A244B7F-2B87-415E-BF25-96D134511BD1-300x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We also added in other resources to create different patterns. This helped the children to practice their mark making.
