Following our current interest of \u2018the farm\u2019 we tested our knowledge of what animal sounds we could identify. These included farm animals and other animals in the wider world.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s1\">Using an animal sounds CD and matching picture cards we got to work. First we looked at the animal card and identified the animal. Then together we made the sound we thought it would make. Next we listed to the animal sound on the CD to see if we were correct.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We all used our voices to make some really good animal sounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2022\/10\/17A826E1-5F26-43D5-B722-4CAED5DB38E7.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-22445\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2022\/10\/17A826E1-5F26-43D5-B722-4CAED5DB38E7-300x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Once we were more familiar with the animal sounds we decided to challenge ourselves a little more. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>This time we played the sound first and then selected what animal it was from the cards displayed. We worked together as a team to identify all the animals displayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2022\/10\/3D33A079-DE3B-47CC-B41F-BCF513E9E0EA.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-22444\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2022\/10\/3D33A079-DE3B-47CC-B41F-BCF513E9E0EA-300x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI think it\u2019s a guinea pig\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cCow\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cIt\u2019s a big rooster\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cThat\u2019s a turkey, it\u2019s like a chicken\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Everyone did a fantastic job using their listening and talking skills to develop their knowledge of animal sounds.
