It\u2019s Maths Week! Today in our garden we have been super busy taking part in lots of fun experiences.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the children were working hard as a team to build their very own \u2018castle\u2019. They were using their problem solving skills to estimate and measure the blocks and materials \u00a0to see which one fits best.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cThis one needs to go at the top\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dIt\u2019s taller than me\u201d<\/p>\n

The children also had lots of fun creating and following patterns in the sand<\/p>\n

\n\u201cthis one looks like M\u201d<\/p>\n

We went on a shape hunt in our garden which was filled with lots of different shapes.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI\u2019ve found a circle\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can see a square\u201d<\/p>\n

Welcome to our cafe, \u00a0the children made up a menu with a selection of prices and the served up some delicious ice cream.<\/p>\n

\u201dI\u2019ll have the strawberry please\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dThat will be 20p\u201d<\/p>\n

The children were creating and copying shapes, using loose parts.<\/p>\n
