The children then collected shells from the sea and took them to the beach for a closer look!<\/p>\n
\u201cMy shell is so soft!\u201d \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cLook, I can hear the sea in mine!\u201d<\/p>\n The children then decided it would be good fun to jump into the sea! Using the crates the children pretended they were in pirate ships bouncing on the sea! \u201cAhoy captain!\u201d They had someone standing on lookout! \u201cWatch out for the tornado!!\u201d, \u201cIt\u2019s coming!!\u201d<\/p>\n The children could see pirates coming so decided to build a bigger boat for themselves! \u00a0 \u201cWe can hide in this!\u201d, \u00a0\u201cThis boat is awesome!\u201d<\/p>\n What great imaginations the children at Cart Mill have. They had great fun through role play and made up a whole story about their time at the beach! They really had great fun whilst developing their communication and \u00a0language skills.
