Today we have been talking about fireworks night . The children told us what they already knew about fireworks.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFireworks are loud.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey make a Big Bang.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c I saw green and pink ones last night.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMy dad bought Sparklers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some of the children didn\u2019t know what sparklers were so we used the computer to search for pictures.<\/p>\n

We then searched for and found a firework safety video on YouTube where Fireman Sam shared some tips on how to stay safe on firework night.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We discussed what we had learned about being safe.<\/p>\n

\u201cStay with mum.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe need to stay far away.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cFireworks could burn us.\u201d
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dWe can wear torches so the cars can see us.”<\/p>\n

We spoke about different ways of being seen in the dark. Wearing Hi \u00a0 Visibility clothing can help.\u00a0 \u201dJust like a policeman.\u201d<\/p>\n
