This morning in the discovery room the children decided to make a track for the bee bots to move around on.<\/p>\n

They used different shaped blocks to create a track that was flat enough for the bee bots to move along .\"\"<\/a>
\nWe looked at the arrows on top and discussed what they mean.<\/p>\n

\u201dThis button means forward\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dwhat is this one mean?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cbackwards backwards\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe children used the direction cards and placed them along the track.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s \u00a0go forward like this card\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201dThe green one is go\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThey used their numeracy skills as they counted how many times they \u00a0pressed the forwards button and how many places the bee moved forward.<\/p>\n

In the end they raced the bees to see who would move the furthest, it was a lot of fun cheering on the bees.<\/p>\n
