As we were crossing a road, we had to be extra careful to look and listen at the side of the road.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/23B22BF7-1F04-4C59-8BD6-2C0F5C6661D5.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19007 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/23B22BF7-1F04-4C59-8BD6-2C0F5C6661D5.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1260\" height=\"1260\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On our walk we had to look up, down and all around. We looked at all the autumn colours of the leaves and we collected the leaves that had fallen on the ground in our special bags. We listened to the birds and saw a squirrel but it was too fast for us to take a photo \ud83d\ude01<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/88CB8035-7441-4849-845F-78C9EB2C3CE6.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19008 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/88CB8035-7441-4849-845F-78C9EB2C3CE6.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1260\" height=\"1260\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After we collected our leaves we played hide and seek, had some races and saw a most interesting van that came off its back wheels and stretched nearly to the moon \ud83d\ude33<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/294123CC-2BB5-4C2B-A094-AE2EA3F0DF80.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-19009 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/10\/294123CC-2BB5-4C2B-A094-AE2EA3F0DF80.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1260\" height=\"1260\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then brought all our autumn goodies back to nursery where the children enjoyed decorating their autumn bags with their leaves. Some chose to paint and we shared them with our friends who may not have been able to come on our walk.
