The children chose the colours of paint they would like to use and practised their pouring skills to fill the paint trays.<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/08\/D3627C25-F0E0-4D8C-9981-1F2CAAAE358E.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-18484\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/er\/cartmill\/files\/2021\/08\/D3627C25-F0E0-4D8C-9981-1F2CAAAE358E-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The children were creative and used the magnets to draw paper clips and screws across the paint and make some lovely designs. This then expanded to making paint patterns on the spoons which were very effective. The children combined different colours to make different shades \u201cThis looks like a river\u201d and \u201cI have a pond for ducks\u201d.
