It’s bonfire night tomorrow so the children have been inspired to paint a large mural of fireworks whizzing and banging.
We used straws bundled together to paint popping fireworks in the night sky.
This afternoon, we used chalk to make a different firework effect on the paper.
Some of the boys and girls have chosen to be outdoors today, and we have made spooky spider plates and found sticks to make Stick Man. We listened to the story and described the sticks using words like sharp and jaggy.
We are having so much fun learning about different animals today! We have been able to touch a snake and a little bearded dragon.
This afternoon we had a special visit from Polly the rat, she’s a very smart creature!
How many ladybird spots can you count?
This afternoon we have been making pumpkin cookies and digging up potatoes to use in soup later this week.
Today we have been learning about clocks, and even making our own clocks and watches!
Updates about what we have been getting up to in nursery this term will appear here shortly …….
