Today we were learning how to make spreadsheets on Microsoft Excel.  We familiarised ourselves with the basic features of the programme and learned how to change the size of cells and colour them.  We each made pictures.

We learned all about how to create cartoon characters through the theme of ‘Knights, horses and dragons’ which we are going to use in future imaginative writing pieces based upon fairy-tale stories that inspire us. Ethan’s dad was truly inspirational as he has been a keen cartoonist since he was a little boy and he was sharing his life-long passion with us.

Primary 4 were enthralled by their visit from Dotty’s (aka Dorothy) dad who came to teach us some amazing drama skills to add to our already strong repertoire.

The games taught us about strength and commitment during team working, controlling and using our voice for maximum impact and best of all games that involved building up trust and resilience.

We really do hope to see  Dorothy’s Dad back again!

Today Mr Weir helped learn how to make a post on our Class Blog!  We are excited to teach our class all we have learned.  We look forward to putting information onto our Class Blog.

Thank you very much to all our parent helpers this morning.  We absolutely loved our Writing Walk to Busby Glen.  We’ve come back with lots of ideas for our stories (and lots of mud on our shoes!)
