We have had great fun creating 3D scenes of the Battle of Bannockburn. These will be on display at our Learning Demonstration Museum.
This morning, for mental maths, we looked at strategies to help us remember long numbers. We were managing 6 and 8 digit numbers which came up individually on the whiteboard. Some people found it best to sing the numbers, some repeat them in their head and some even visualise the numbers on a phone. Good work everyone!
We have had a busy afternoon recreating pictures for Art as part of our topic on the Scottish Wars.
On Monday, Chris from active schools trained all of the P.6s in Play Zone training. It was training us how to teach games in the playground to the younger children.

This morning the Diamonds were working on decimals, the Sapphires on dividing, Emeralds on graphs and Rubies on doing maths games on the iPads. We love Maths!
Today we started our Mandarin lessons again. We revised some vocabulary and learned about Chinese culture.
We have been working hard learning our spelling words through multi-sensory techniques.
