Primary 2B had a super visit to the People’s Palace today where they learned all about life in Glasgow when Granny was a Girl.
We had a chance to sort some artefacts into order on a timeline, visit a Single End, went Doon the Water and had a trip to a Steamie!
Kayla demonstrated how dialling 999 is quicker on a modern mobile phone.
Imogen and Sophie were able to show the difference between cameras now and then.
Thanks to Alfie and Kayla’s Mums for helping out!
This week in Maths the circles are learning about the story of 16, 17 and 18! The squares are learning about money and giving change and the triangles are learning about counting and numbers. Can you practise these skills at home with your children if you get a chance please?
Thanks very much,
Liz Farrant and Natalie Woods
Hello boys and girls, parents and carers,
Welcome to Primary 2B’s blog. We’ll be using it to show you snippets of what we have been up to over the last term. We hope that you all enjoyed our church assembly on Gratitude.
This week we have already been looking at the sound ‘ea’ in phonics, we have been using ICT to do Maths and in PE we are still looking at fitness. Here are some pictures of us doing exercises that keep our bodies strong and healthy.
They are a little blurry because some of us are moving so fast!
We’ll keep this page updated so that you can find out more about what we are learning.
Mrs Farrant and P2B
