As you’re probably aware Primary 4/5 are lucky enough to be going on trips to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum! We’ve been learning some Scots, translating stories and we’re going to be doing more Art, Writing and Literacy work in class in the coming weeks.
Miss Hunter has asked that every pupil in the school learn one poem or verse of Scots for a homework task. I’ll therefore be going through poems with the children tomorrow and encouraging them to pick suitable poems to learn. They’ll be reciting them to the class between the 17th – 20th January.
If any child would like to do a research project on Robert Burns then we’d be delighted to share that with the class.
