**There will be no more homework issued until next year.The children have worked extremely hard this year in all areas and they are pleased with their progress.
**Over the holidays I would ask that you try and continue to read with your child and if possible continue with some number games now and again to give them the best start to P3. They really enjoy the ‘Hit the Button’ game and I am sure it would not be seen as a chore! ( 6-7 weeks off is a long time when you are 7!)
** Thank you to all who supported the children with their enterprise. They will sell the rubbers (60p) again this week with all proceeds going to SPCA, at the children’s request. The children have enjoyed learning about endangered animals, with the SPCA, at their recent visit and in running the business, have learned about budgeting, profit and loss.
** This week our senior pupils will also be selling ‘sweetie cones’ for one pound each in aid of the homeless. The sweeties will be suitable for those who follow a halal diet.
*** To those heading off on holiday this week I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the year with the various events and homework tasks; this is very much appreciated. I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching your lovely children and hope very much that my next class are just as hard working. Have a lovely summer!
