We have been learning about Christian baptisms. We watched a short video and took notes of the main points. Using our notes we wrote a paragraph explaining what happens at a Christian baptism.
Today we were developing our typing ability to help us find, organise, manage and access information. To do this we used a program called ‘Type to Learn’ which helped us develop our hand positions and typing speed. These skills will help us in our school work, at home and in the future, at work.
We have been developing our knowledge of the water cycle and how water changes state. To achieve this we took part in a variety of activities and experiments, leading to us researching, preparing, and delivering a presentation to both Primary 5 classes.
In looking at plants and what they need to grow and develop, we have started growing ‘Maris Piper’ potatoes in our classroom – they should be ready for Christmas!
