Polygon Patterns

 

First we used compasses to draw a circle. We put points on the circle and then connecting them with lines. We kept on doing this until we got a nice polygon pattern with different shapes for example, dodecagons, decagons, nonagons, hexagons, pentagons, squares and triangles. Most of them turned out great

Inheritance

As part of our transition to high school we learned about chromosomes and DNA. We know that our family can carry genes that they don’t use but can pass to their children. We investigated how this would work on fictional characters called Reebops. We chose alleles without looking so it was up to chance. That’s how we created our Reebop babies.

During our visit to high school we used gel electrophoresis to identify a wizard’s magical genes.
