We created these storyboards about Ibrahim and Ismail. We had to remember the story and not include any faces except for the devil. We had fun creating these pictures and colouring them in.

We made Christmas cards
We did this by making a background with sponges and blue paint. Next we thumb printed brown and red paint onto our backgrounds to make robins. We put legs and a beak onto our robins then we added sparkles and a stamp.
Primary 7 have been learning to write code. They started by writing simple instructions and worked through a series of tasks with increasing difficulty. Some tasks took a few times to complete correctly, but the children have been very good at supporting each other with their learning. After a few weeks of practising, Charlie can use his knowledge of geometry and the repeat function to create fabulous patterns.
Over four weeks, Primary 7 pupils focused on learning to draw bottles. Firstly we learned how to to draw ellipses and to notice how they change as they move away from eye level.
In our second lesson we learned how to use symmetry, geometric shapes and ellipses to draw a bottle.
In our third lesson we added tone using chalk and charcoal. We were very pleased by how three dimensional they looked.
Our final lesson was to draw a tonal still life picture using all the elements we had learned. It was very difficult but we have a number of very successful pictures.
On the second day of term the P7 children visited Arthurlie House for a ‘Safety in the Park’ event. During the afternoon the children rotated around different activities and took part in short activities focused on safety. Throughout the afternoon everyone listened well and gained understanding about dangers from e.g. traffic, alcohol, sugar, strangers, electricity, social media, fire.
