The Carlibar SELF was originally\u00a0developed by Annie McGauley (DHT, Carlibar Communication Centre) and Chris Atherton (East Renfrewshire Educational Psychology Service) in collaboration with\u00a0a group of current and former East Renfrewshire\u00a0ASD advisors.\u00a0 It was developed\u00a0using outcomes from Curriculum for Excellence.\u00a0 The purpose of the framework is to support\u00a0practitioners throughout the process of\u00a0wellbeing assessment, intervention and\u00a0evaluation where children\u00a0and young people have\u00a0communication needs.<\/p>\n
