They were able to tour the building and learn about how it operates as a social enterprise. Students also received a talk from Glasgow entrepreneur Celia Sinclair. They then attended the exhibition to learn about Miss Cranston, a Scottish entrepreneur who started her business empire in 1909. Pupils were inspired by her determination to succeed at a time when women were not allowed to go out without a chaperone. Finally, pupils received a lovely afternoon tea and were able to choose from 26 different teas.<\/p>\n<p><a
