The theme of the STEM day was a design and engineering task linked to the BP Ultimate Stem Challenge &#8211;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bpes.bp.com\/ultimate-stem-challenge\">https:\/\/bpes.bp.com\/ultimate-stem-challenge<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) days provide short introductory sessions for S2 students to enhance their understanding of, and aptitude for, problem solving, creativity, design, and engineering. Pupils worked in teams of five to design and manufacture a prototype based on the concept of wearable technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;font-family: Calibri\">Well done to all of the pupils who participated in this year\u2019s STEM day and to the overall winners of the D&amp;T shield.
