Williamwood Netball

This week has been a very busy week for the Williamwood netball girls. Monday 9th March saw the S3 Silver squad travel to Waid Academy, Anstruther. They put in an assured performance and qualified for the national silver level final on Tuesday 17th March at Oriam, Heriot-Watt University.

On the same day the S1 Gold squad travelled to Pebbles High School where the came up against a very organised team. They unfortunately suffered defeat but the school are very proud of the girls in securing a place in the Gold semi-finals after only one school session playing as a team. The future of netball at Williamwood is in good hands.

Finally, on Tuesday 10th March the Open B netballers travelled to Strathallan School, Perth for their Silver semi-final. It was not to be for our S3 – S5 girls as they came up against a ruthless team in Strathallan who were worthy winners.

Miss McLaughlin, Miss Hood, Mr Allan and Anna Beattie are so proud of the achievements of all girls and their commitment to netball this session.
