We appreciate that the school car park has limited parking spaces and is busy at the beginning and end of the school day but pupil safety is paramount. Therefore, we would like to remind parents that pupils should only be dropped off in the ‘drop zone’ on the left hand side of the school car park in the morning or in the bus lane next to the nursery. Parents should not park at the disabled bays as is it not safe to do so and blocks the road leading to safety concerns for pupils. Access and use of the disabled bays are for parents or pupils with a disabled badge. There is a strict 5mph limit in the car park at all times. Previous S2 form captains have tried to raise awareness of these issues by creating posters to encourage drivers to be safe in the school car park. Where possible, please encourage pupils to walk to school. A previous letter issued about the safe use of the car park can be viewed here. Some of our previous S2 form captains have also created a humorous video which can be viewed here. We appreciate your on-going understanding and support with regards to the school car park.
S4 pupils will be issued with their full report today. Pupils will also receive three letters explaining how their parents/carers can orgnaise their appointments online for the Parents’ Evening on Thursday 12th December. The PTA will be serving tea/coffee and serving tuck at the Parents’ Evening.
