Scotland’s Biggest Parent’s Evening Wednesday 6 March

Starting to think about your child’s future? An apprenticeship which offers a unique combination of work and education could be the answer.

In Scotland, over 37,000 young people are currently undertaking apprenticeships across a huge range of sectors – from engineering to hospitality, financial services to beauty.  These vary from school-based placements (Foundation Apprenticeships), to getting a job and getting qualified at the same time (Modern Apprenticeships) to undertaking a degree while working (Graduate Apprenticeships).

Want to find out more? Come and join DYW Glasgow to learn about the options available, and which one could be the best fit for your child.

At the event we will hear directly from an apprentice, as well as employers and other professionals, about the value of apprenticeships and work-based learning for young people. Details as follows:

  • Wednesday 6 March 2019, 4.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, 30 George Square, Glasgow, G2 1EQ
