Eleven S3 pupils are planning to climb Ben Nevis in June as a fundraiser in memory of their close friend, Kyle Bremner, who tragically passed away in December 2017. The boys wanted to do something fun to remember Kyle and to raise funds in honour of the fundraising that Kyle undertook. The boys have been training hard and have already completed a number of practise climbs on some Munros before they tackle Britain’s highest mountain in June 2018. The boys are being supported by their dads who will accompany them on the climb and they are raising money for Meningitis Now.
All sponsorship would be greatly appreciated and can be made at www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kyle-nevis
The S3 pupils have created their Just Giving page with the following information:
“On the 5th of December 2017 our friend Kyle Bremner tragically passed away due to a rare form of meningitis.
To remember Kyle and raise some money for the charity Meningitis Now, we have decided to climb the famous Scottish Mountain Ben Nevis on the 23rd of June this year. Kyle went through so much, after his mum died of cancer in 2015, but kept his head held high and a smile on his face. He was an inspiration to us all and will never be forgotten. Any donations are massively appreciated.
