Pupil Achievement

Congratulations to Logan (S5) who was the first female driver to race in F4 in the UAE last weekend.  This was Logan’s second time in the car and gave her a fantastic experience.  Logan is demonstrating great potential and has improved greatly on her times and control of the car.  Logan loved racing on a full F1 circuit and is keen to continue to progress and further her career.  Well done Logan and good luck for the future!More photographs here.

Congratulations to Ross (S4) who has been selected to represent Scotland in the Alpine Ski events as part of the in the next World Schools’ Winter Games early in the new year.  This is a bi-annual event which takes place in Grenoble, France, and only the top 5 boys in the under 16 age category in Scotland are selected to compete.

The P.E. Department would like to congratulate all pupils for their outstanding approach towards social dance this year.  Their enthusiasm, ability to interact well with one another and the manners they have shown throughout have been particularly impressive.  It is no surprise that tickets for both school dances have been selling exceptionally well and we would expect them to sell out very soon.  Pupils who have yet to purchase a ticket should bring their money to the P.E. base as soon as possible.  Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay at the door on the night.
