Smart STEM Interactive Conference

A group of five  S2 pupils accompanied by Mr Doohan recently took part in a Smart STEMs interactive conference at Clyde College Glasgow. The pupils spent the morning with a  programmer and an engineer listening as they detailed the challenges they face in their daily role. Pupils then participated in master classes in forensic science, Minecraft, childcare, construction, horticulture, textiles and even go karting. The pupils met with many STEM industry experts throughout the day and left feeling enthusiastic about a future career in STEM.
