We hope that all of our pupils taking part in the Big Day Out on Monday have a great day. There are lots of in-school activities to choose from if you prefer to remain in school. Pupils staying in school for our ‘Big Day In’ do not need to wear uniform on Monday.
Congratulations to all of the Primary 7 pupils from Busby, Carolside and Netherlee Primary schools who recently competed in the Williamwood Cluster Maths Challenge. Following on from heats which were held at the primaries, the winning teams from each school competed in the final which was staged at Williamwood High School. The final consisted of 3 rounds: group-based written questions, a practical puzzles challenge and finally, a high-speed buzzer round. The winning team were Busby, who just pipped Carolside to retain the trophy, and so congratulations go to Rae, Shubh, Sam and Kshitij.
Congratulations to Cormac (S5) who is now the National Paralympic Champion for the under 16 1500m event, following an outstanding performance at an event at Grangemouth Sports Complex recently.
Congratulations to Lucy (S5), who is now Scottish Bouldering Champion, following her success at a recent event which involved competitors from all over Britain.

Three other S6 pupils: Kerry, Emma and Hannah also participated in the weekend activities as senior buddies to pupils from Isobel Mair.
