The Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards recognise young people who have made a difference to the lives of others. Thie year’s final is taking place on Thursday 27 April at the Crowne Plaza and the Clyde Auditorium.
Former Williamwood pupil Joe Gardner has been shorlisted for the final in The Arts category. Joe set up Glasgow’s Teenage Comedy Night in January 2016 after becoming the first winner of the Gilded Balloon’s Edinburgh Fringe Class Clowns competition. Joe actively encourages other teenagers to get involved in stand up comedy. We wish Joe success as a finalist in this year’s Young Scot Awards. Good luck!
