Congratulations to Craig Thomson (S3) who won the West of Scotland Tennis Championships in the U14 age category on Sunday 12 June 2016 which was played at Newlands Tennis Club from 10-12 June 2016. Despite being seeded 8th, Craig beat a range of excellent players on the way to a final in which he beat another Giffnock boy, 7-5, 6-1 in an exciting match. Craig also played in the U16 West of Scotland Championships between 17-19 June 2016 where he reached the semi-final before losing to the 3rd seed. This is a great achievement given that all the players he played against were older. Well done Craig!
