Primary 7 Drama Project

Drama pictureAll primary 7 pupils in the Williamwood cluster have been working with our drama staff this year in an eight week project which culminated in a performance in our drama studios.  The project was designed to support the expressive arts outcomes of curriculum for excellence;  building pupils’ confidence in creating and presenting practical work to an audience.  Pupils explored prop making, script writing, using their voice and movement skills and developing their creativity by responding to historical stimuli.  Pupils in Busby started the project in September with pupils from Netherlee and Carolside participating in April.   Pupils researched local stories about World War II and used drama techniques to bring their stories to life.   The project was a great success and we look forward to working with all of the primary 7s again in drama after the summer holidays.
