S3 Pupil Visit Strathclyde Business School

P3250007On Wednesday, 70 National 5 Business Management pupils visited the University of Strathclyde Business School. The pupils were attending as part of an ongoing project with the Business School where they have been tasked with planning the introduction of a commercially viable app. As part of the final stage, pupils presented their ideas in the impressive court senate suite to their fellow pupils and were judged by academics at the University. All groups fully applied themselves to the tasks and gave excellent presentations. There were three winners on the day. Best app idea went to ‘Gra-feet-i’ designed by Andrew, Cameron, Christie, Grace, Lewis, Keyser and Mhairi. The best presentation was delivered by Holly, Kerry, Louise and Sarah for their app idea, ‘Style-up’. However, the overall winning concept was ‘S’Cool Buddy’ designed by Assad, Barkaat, Hannah, Kirsty, Pam Ray and Ross.  Well done to all pupils who participated.  We would like to thank the University of Strathclyde for their involvement in this project and look forward to working with them again in the future. <Gallery of photographs>
