Pupils at Williamwood were some of the first athletes to use the Commonwealth track at Hampden. The pupils enjoyed this unique experience and had a fantastic Championship achieving 3 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze medals. Congratulations to all pupils who participated in the Championships. Gold medals were awarded to Max Lancaster (800m champion), Rachel Alexander (long jump and triple jump champion; bronze for 200m), Calum Alexander (silver for 75m hurdles and high jump), David Lambie (silver at high jump with a personal best of 1.85m), Iona Menzies (bronze for the pole vault and 4th for 80m hurdles).
