Williamwood supporting pupils in Ghana

The life chances for uneducated young women in sub-Saharan Africa are very poor.  It is a life of early marriage, multiple early pregnancy, disease, hard physical work and early death (by UK standards).  That is why the Let Us Shine school was founded in Northern Ghana.  Let Us Shine is a Scottish charity with the founder (and still full-time active worker) being a Scottish pharmacist now married to a Ghanaian. Many thanks to everyone at Williamwood High School who indirectly have helped 100 girls through the recycling and reusing of lost property.
