\"\"<\/a>Primary 5 pupils Amy, Emma, Emily, Megan-Jane, Lauren and Dean had a super time at the Hockey Festival at Eastwood High School on Monday.<\/p>\n

“We were put into teams and some of us were split up.\u00a0 I didn’t know anyone in my team so I quickly made new friends from Mearns Primary and Neilston.\u00a0 They were called Evie, Holly, Lucy and Jodie.”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Lauren<\/p>\n

“We played hockey games and it was hard to get the ball because \u00a0everybody went for it at the same time!\u00a0\u00a0 The ball was like a bigger version of\u00a0 a golf ball.\u00a0 It was hard and coloured yellow, orange and white.”\u00a0\u00a0 Emma<\/p>\n

“The weather was sunny but really cold!\u00a0 It didn’t rain but the hockey pitch was wet so when we sat down to listen to instructions\u00a0we got wet bottoms!”\u00a0\u00a0 Dean<\/p>\n

“There were 6 courses.\u00a0 There were team games, hurdles, dribbling and passing the ball.”\u00a0\u00a0 Amy<\/p>\n

“We spent 10 or 15 minutes at each course and we had time to spare so we manage to squeeze in one more course.\u00a0 I did the hurdles!”\u00a0\u00a0 Megan<\/p>\n

“There were 9 teams and we all had a different coloured vest.\u00a0 I had a green\u00a0vest and I already knew a girl from gymnastics in my team. Her name is Lauren.”\u00a0 Emily<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
