As part of our work on becoming a Rights Respecting School we want to ensure that the articles from the ’Convention of the Rights of the Child’ are embedded in school life, therefore we have a ‘Right of The Month’. The right of the month is raised in class and discussed further during our assemblies. This supports the children’s understanding of the individual articles by exploring them in a range of meaningful contexts. This is our Calendar for the year 2017/2018:
You have the right to education.
All organisations concerned with children should work towards what is best for each child.

Everyone under the age of 18 has all the rights in the convention.
