Learning in the area of technologies enables children to be informed, skilled, adaptable and enterprising citizens who understand the impact of technology in society.  Children take part in research, problem solving and exploration of new and unfamiliar concepts.  They are encouraged to develop their creativity and entrepreneurial skills along with skills and confidence to use technologies and become capable of making reasoned choices relating to the environment, to sustainable development and to ethical, economic and cultural issues.
