Design & Manufactrue is an exciting new course which aims to develop design,
\ngraphics and modelling skills as you learn about materials and how they can be turned into useful and effective products.<\/p>\n

The course starts with a product evaluation task where you research and evaluate an everyday product from Ikea to see how good it really is.<\/p>\n

You then learn about the design process, materials and manufacturing with a series of design and modelling projects such as flat- pack furniture for IKEA.<\/p>\n

At National 5 & Higher\u00a0your skills are assessed when you design and make a prototype based on the SQA\u2019s task.<\/p>\n
