For example, they will have the opportunity to take part in:<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Paired reading across stages<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Reading and storytelling through digital experiences<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Reading and storytelling through outdoor learning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">A workshop with Therapet (Dogs who are trained to be read to) P4&amp;5<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">P1 and P6 visit to Neilston library<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Themed writing lessons exploring different genres<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">A Read \u2018a\u2019 Thon<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Read \u2018a\u2019 Thon<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">The Read \u2018a\u2019 Thon will take place on Wednesday the 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0November.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">Pupils will have the opportunity to bring their favourite book into school. (This can be whatever the children read for enjoyment; i.e. fiction, non-fiction, a comic book etc.)\u00a0<em>We ask that they bring this book into school on Wednesday 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0November<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u00a0<\/span><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">\u2018Blether\u2019<br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif\">The theme for Book Week Scotland this year is \u201cBlether\u201d so encouraging your child to discuss their favourite book or illustrator and having conversations around their book or books that they have recently read would be great.
