Aid To The Church In Need : Solidarity School.<\/span><\/div>\n
We are pleased to announce that\u00a0 following on from our work with \u2018Aid To The Church In Need\u2019 we have been awarded the status of \u2018Solidarity School\u2019.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u2018Aid To The Church In Need\u2019 is a world wide organisation which has it’s Scottish Base in Motherwell and it works to offer pastoral and financial support to people who are suffering religious persecution. You will be well aware of the many shocking incidences of religious persecution carried out by ISIS. Aid To The Church in Need is in the forefront of the support of these persecuted people as well as supporting the Persecuted Church in China and other countries in Asia. Although, a formal association of the Church, Aid To The Church In Need does not limit its support to Christians but offers support to all who are persecuted.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Among the many generous donations charity \u00a0from funds raised by our pupils, we were please to present Lorriane McMahon, Scottish Coordinator of Aid To The Church in Need, with a cheque for \u00a3500 on her recent visit to the School. We hope to add to this when we are represented by over fifty pupils and staff at their National Rally in Carfin on Thursday 11 June 2015.<\/span><\/div>\n
