Equestrian Club members in S1-3 are looking forward to some spring weather after a long (and some weeks very cold!) winter. Last week S2\/3 pupils were able to ride outside for the first time this year. Ponies and pupils alike enjoyed a hack in the countryside around Hazelden Equestrian Centre. This week the S1 pupils were not so lucky with the weather and were very glad to have the use of Hazelden’s large indoor arena to ride in. The stables’ instructor Kerry commented on how well both groups are progressing. Many of those taking part have learned to canter and are building the skills needed for jumping.<\/p>\n

There is currently one place available in each group. Any interested pupils should speak to Mrs Miller (Support for Learning).<\/p>\n
